My name is Klaire, I’m 31 years old and I come from the Northern France. I have a degree in social psychology but I’ve always been passionate about art, historical fashion beauty and mythology. In 2012, I stepped  into homemade natural cosmetics by learning to make my own products. 

Over the years, I’ve become such passionate about crafting cosmetics that I wrote several grimoires to share my receipes with my family and friends! I seriously started to study occultism and witchcrafting in 2017-2018, which made me take a whole new turn in my life. I felt like a revelation about my faith and spirituality and the obvious links between all I was passionnate about. I consider myself as a pagan witch for more than seven years now : my way of life literally follows the rhythm of natural seasons and antique pagan holidays.

The Witch Hut is a small artisanal company of natural and vegan cosmetic products and magical creations.
Founded in France in 2019, my company is inspired by vintage beauty recipes – in particular Egyptian and
Greco-Roman antiquity, 17th century, Victorian era and the beginning of XXth century. My company is deeply connected with the natural cycle of seasons : all of my productsare 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free and made in full consciousness.

All my raw materials are the most possible from organic farming and local productions – but
I grow some plants in my witch garden ! I also only
work with French suppliers.

I make my own recipes by taking inspiration from old recipes in history books, and by using a lot of my intuition and my knowledge of herbalism. I design all of my product labels by myself. I am really committed to preserve the link between what was and what will be, by mixing past eras and modern world. I hope you enjoy this spiritual journey !

MY STORY

est. 2019

In 2019 I decided to quit my job and follow my dream by opening my own apothecary shop in Lille – in order to sell natural cosmetic ingredients and run workshops. I managed to raise €3,500 with crowdfunding but in 2020 I had to make new plans because of the Coronavirus crisis. 
Finally, I decided to create my own cosmetics brand and online business and I started on Etsy in 2020 summer. After four years of being dependant of this platform, I decided to create my own website on June 2024 (and there I am !!!)

For more than 5 years, I’ve never stop being committed to help as many people as I can by offering them natural, vegan and cruelty-free cosmetic products with simple and effective recipes. More than 5000 people followed me since and I will never thank them enough for trusting me year after year ♥
