My name is Klaire, I'm 31 and I'm from the North of France. My degree is in psychology, but I've always had a passion for art, historical fashion and mythology. In 2012, I discovered the world of natural homemade cosmetics by learning to make my own products.
Over the years, I've developed a passion for this field and a number of recipe books that I've enjoyed sharing with friends and family! In 2018 I seriously discovered the world of occultism, esotericism and spirituality, which made me take a whole new turn in my life. Following this, I felt a revelation and I've considered myself a pagan and a witch for over 5 years, my lifestyle being based on the rhythm of the seasons and ancestral pagan festivals (mainly Greek and Celtic).
The Witch Hut is a small artisanal company of natural and vegan cosmetic products and magical creations.
Founded in France in 2019, my company is inspired by vintage beauty recipes - Egyptian and
Greco-Roman antiquity, Victorian and Edwardian era.My company is deeply connected with the natural cycle of seasons: all of my products are 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free and made in full consciousness.
All my raw materials are as far as possible organically grown and locally produced, so I grow some of my plants in my little witch's garden. I work mainly with French suppliers and designers to contribute to a more local and circular economy.
I make my own recipes, drawing inspiration from ancient recipes available in research books, and making extensive use of my intuition and knowledge of herbalism. I design all my own product labels, drawing on the different eras of the past that inspire me. I honor the past and maintain the link between what was and what will be, mixing bygone eras with the modern world. I hope you enjoy my invitation on this spiritual and temporal journey !
For over 5 years, I've taken it to heart to help as many people as possible by offering them natural, vegan, animal-suffering-free cosmetics with simple, effective recipes.
