Candle care
- Before the first lighting, cut the wick by 1 cm: too high a wick can generate too large a flame and damage the candle and the wax inside.
- Allow the candle to burn for at least 1 hour during initial lighting, to create a pool and avoid tunneling.
- Never leave your candle burning unattended. Do not light near a flammable surface or in a hot room.
- Remove any decorations or dried flowers before lighting your candle.
- To extinguish it, avoid blowing on it, preferring a snuffer. Don't hesitate to re-center the wick as the wax cools.
- You can cut off the small piece of burnt wick before each relighting to improve combustion and extend the life of your candle.
